prelimsA research‑oriented study exploring the perceptions and potential roles of teacher‑librarians in literacy education in primary schools. Based on focus‑group discussions among class teachers and teacher‑librarians, the book identifies a spectrum of seven conceptions of librarian involvement — from assistant and manager to expert/consultant and leader — arguing that recognising and empowering the teacher‑librarian as a professional educator and collaborator can significantly strengthen school literacy programs.
