The Dutch Intersection is a collection of historical studies examining the multifaceted connections between the history and culture of the Jews in the Netherlands from the early seventeenth century through the post-Holocaust period. Edited by Yosef Kaplan, the volume explores how Dutch Jewry was influenced by both Sephardi and Ashkenazi traditions and, at various times, served as a source of inspiration for Jewish communities elsewhere. The essays analyze the impact of broader Jewish history on Dutch Jews and highlight the significance of Dutch Jewry in the context of modern Jewish culture.
